  • A vacuum of need is opening which China will be happy to fill. China can “come to the rescue”.

  • Food instability and famine will lead to an increase in disease (which will spread), war, and extremism

  • The ending of Malaria treatments in poorer parts of the world will allow the disease to spread more widely

  • Govt instability will lead to war, reduction of exports by war-ravaged countries, and the expedinture of more of the world’s resources. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

  • Other nations can no longer trust the US because The Republican Administration have reneged on so many promises and commitments

    • This leads to increasing costs. Trust lowers costs. That trust won’t be recovered for three generations.

  • 2025 May - Moody’s ratings agency downgrades the U.S. due to a less reliable and lawful economy and expected deficit increases.

  • Prior to trump, US Agencies could act based on their mission and objectives and the political party of the president didnt matter. now many agencies must act as trump wants them to act, even if that doesn’t align with their mission, therefore they have lost some independence and their mission is no longer clear, it is ambiguous and subject to trump’s whims which causes the agencies to flouder more.
