Makes Govt Incompetent

At every level of the U.S. Government, less experienced and competent people are now doing work of more competent people they replaced. In addition, the newly hired Trump loyalists care little about the mission of the departments they head, nor the morale of the staff working for them. These people see their positions as a way to squeeze power and wealth out of subordinates and gain favor with Trump by aggressively pursuing courses of action they guess he would like. Government is not operating to improve the lives of Americans, but to improve each person’s standing within the pecking order of Trump admirers.

  • Trump hired, and continues to hire people based on their loyalty to him over their loyalty to the U.S. Constitution or the truth.
    • Therefore, many people, perhaps most people, hired to the most important positions in the U.S. Government lack experience and skills for the job they have been hired to do.
    • People with experience and skills are being fired despite performing their job well. They are being fired because in performing their job well they were required to question Trump’s integrity or his adherence to the law. Trump wants no person working for the government that would consider calling Trump out for crimes or improper actions.
    • People with experience and skills are being fired simply because Trump or his allies have the legal position to fire them, and those people have not demonstrated their unswerving loyalty to Trump on social media posts or in interviews.
      • It should be noted that many of those fired have been returned to employment after our justice system determined that Trump did not have the authority to fire them.
    • People with experience and skills are leaving government work because they no longer believe that working for lower pay than they can make in the private sector is offset by doing good work for the benefit of Americans, because under Trump their first priority is expected to be loyalty to Trump’s desires, and not doing what is best for the American people.
  • Many of those hired not only lack experience for their position, but are on record for clearly hating the department they are now in charge of, and therefore they seek to disrupt its ability to function in order to prove that the department is bad.
